ALIAMANU MILITARY RESERVATION, Hawaii - In response to the ongoing water crisis, the US established "Task Force Ohana" to assist residents of the Aliamanu Military Reservation (AMR) in Red Hill. More than 250 soldiers from the 2nd Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regt. going door to door delivering drinking water to both AMR and Red Hill. In addition, 32,000 gallons of water have been shipped from the Wahiawa Well to Schofield Barracks for distribution to affected military communities. Staff run the 'Ohana' help desk at the AMR Community Centre, which offers accommodation and medical support.
AMR residents in Red Hill who require temporary accommodation should visit the AMR Town Center Help Desk for assistance.
